Toddlers & Babies

Toddler Groups

St Andrew’s runs three separate toddler groups. These are open to all toddlers of the right age plus their parents and carers. The groups meet from 10.00-11.30am during school term time on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning.

Children generally start Toddlers once they start walking and stay until they are 3 years old.  (Parents who are not able to attend the Friday Baby group may also attend Toddlers with non-walking children.)

The Bridge

The Bridge

The groups all meet in our ancillary building, “The Bridge”. Parking is available in the main church car park. Wheelchair or buggy access is via the lower door accessed from Quickley Lane. A ramped walkway to this leads from the entrance end of the car park.

Regular activities include painting, play dough, sand, crafts, climbing frame and singing. Hot drinks and snacks are provided. A termly subscription of £12 is payable. Every term 10% is given to either a local or a children's charity.

Dads’ Fun Mornings

These provide an opportunity on a Saturday morning for the Dads of those attending the midweek toddler groups to spend the morning with their children having fun!  For dates and other details please email

Mother and Baby Group

A Mother and Baby group runs in a separate group alongside our Toddler group every Friday. This is a chance for new mums to meet and chat with others in a comfortable supported environment.

"It has been an Oasis for me, thanks."

"I have made new friends in the area and we share ideas and most importantly, my child also has made friends."

"It is something to look forward to once a week. There is no stress and no-one judges what we do or say. We get a fantastic cup of tea"

A fee of £1 a week is charged to cover costs. Parking and access is as for Toddler groups. For more information email
