Youth

There’s a lot going on at St. Andrews for young people! The following are some of our weekly activities. Log on to the youth website at www.hellogod.co.uk for more information.

Monday -          Football 6pm – 7pm

Tuesday -          Acts (years 7-9) meet between 7pm – 8:30 pm in the Lower Hall at St. Andrews. We start the evening with fun and games (and usually food) then split into year groups to get to know each other better and do some Bible study. Check out the term dates as we go on a social about once a month (bowling, quasar, ice skating etc…)

Thursday -         Breakout (years 10-13) meet in MSC (mid sized communities) in houses around Chorleywood 7:30-9:30pm. Each house has 2 small groups in it (so there are between 12 and 20 young people in each house). At the moment we are in three houses in Chorleywood and one house in Sarratt. This is a time of building community and going deeper in our faith. We encourage all young people who are serious about moving on in their walk with God to go along.

Friday -             Th3D meets at the church. Doors open at 7:45pm for an 8pm start. Th3D is our youth Congregation bringing together all of the young people between Yr 7 and 13. The service is held between 8pm and 9:20pm and usually includes a talk and worship, interviews, testimonies, videos and other creative things! It is designed to really speak into the lives of young people, and always includes young people from St. Andrews leading different aspects of the service. Once the service is over there is the option to continue worshipping and praying, or ‘the Venue’ opens where young people can chill out, play various games including computer consoles on big screens, get food and drink, buy tuck, and enjoy each others company in a safe place. We sometimes have live performances from young people who are in bands, or get visiting bands in to play. Th3D closes at 10pm.

Saturday -         Occasionally we have Socials or other events on Saturday. Check the term dates at www.hellogod.co.uk

Sunday -           Acts (Yrs 7-9) meet during the 11am service each week.

                        The 7pm service often attracts a lot of young people and Pete usually opens 'the flat' after the service for food and 'chillin' until 10pm.
