Specialised

Some of our NETS have a special focus, shared interest or common need.

If you are interested in joining one of our NETS it would be great to have you visit us, please send us an email by clicking on the relevant link. We would like to be able to welcome you personally to our NET and make sure you have the most up-to-date information about the next meeting. Most of our Sunday morning NETS meet on either two or three Sundays in the month. On fourth Sundays, all the NET members gather together in the St Andrew’s Church Centre at one of the services. Most of our NETS also have homegroups that meet at various times during the week. Here is a summary of what our NETS are about, when and where they meet, and how to contact them.

Chrysalis

We are a community for adults with learning disabilities and together we have fun, grow friendships, eat cake and explore God’s love.  We meet once a month and seek to be a safe place where those with disabilities can experience the Father's love. It is also a great opportunity to bless and love their families and carers. We have various special events, such as a Christmas dinner and summer picnics, and we also support an orphanage in Zimbabwe, particularly praying for those of its children with learning disabilities.

We meet every Tuesday and seek to practically demonstrate the love of Jesus and to provide a meeting place where people can develop new friendships, build community and simply be loved, as well as enjoy a hot two course meal! We have various activities throughout the year, including trips to garden centres, Christmas lunch, monthly communion services and 'Thought for the Day'.

 The Vine

The Vine is an exciting NET group for 18 to 30s, which exists to achieve two things: To explore the depths of the Almighty God together and to restore our age group into the family of God, the Church. We are passionate about building community and seeing God working in our lives. We meet fortnightly between the church and a local pub in Chorleywood where we have times of prayer, worship and teaching as well as build lasting friendships in our TIE groups. We're excited by what God is doing in our generation at the moment and long to see Him do more and more with and through us. For more info, see our website: http://thevinecw.co.uk or contact us!
