MSCs in and around Chorleywood

If you are interested in joining one of our MSCs it would be great to have you visit us, please send us an email by clicking on the relevant link. We would like to be able to welcome you personally to our MSC and make sure you have the most up-to-date information about the next meeting. Most of our Sunday morning MSCs meet on either two or three Sundays in the month. On fourth Sundays, all the MSC members gather together in the St Andrew’s Church Centre at one of the services. Most of our MSCs also have homegroups that meet at various times during the week. Here is a summary of what our MSCs are about, when and where they meet, and how to contact them.

Affinity*

Our vision is to be a community for those who serve on a Sunday morning at the church centre. We worship together, eat together and seek to reach those around us with the love of the Father. We have regular evenings of worship and testimony, as well as a variety of social events such as long walks, quiz evenings and meals together.

The Ark*

Our vision is to be an extended family in Chorleywood. We want to grow in love for God and for each other; to encourage one another to develop the gifts and ministries which He has invested in us; to support each other in reaching out to our communities with the love of Jesus. In the summer months some of us go up to the local car boot sale to meet people from our community; we give out free bottles of water. We also organise regular social events to which we invite our friends, families and neighbours.

Roots

We seek to create good, firm foundations on which we can build God’s kingdom in the area of Chorleywood and the Stag pub where we meet. We seek to build relationships with people in the community and on the allotments through practical acts of God’s love. Roots are the carriers of food and life to the other parts of the body, and we wish to bring light and nourishment to this area.

WD3*

We want to see our local community transformed and lives changed by the power of the Father's love. We do this in a variety of ways, a lot of prayer, free car washes, film evenings and recently by infiltrating the local psychic fair. We are constantly blown away by the love and power of the Father, and His desire to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
