March 2011 VIP Weekend Away
VIP, our aged 9-11 (yr 5-6) Tuesday net, had their weekend away on Friday – Saturday and… WOW… It was sooooooo amazing! We all had so much fun with many amazing activities such as base building, night walks and marshmallows on bonfires, scavenger hunts and capture the flag. All between some amazing teachings from the leaders on whom our spiritual heroes were and what things we can take from their lives. God really blessed our time with community, memories, things to take away and absolutely fabulous weather to boot. It will be a great memory for these kids for a long time, and one for me forever!

February 2010 VIP Weekend Away
What a weekend it was!! God really came and met us down in beautifully scenic Chellington. The weekend was filled with lots of fun games and activities including t-shirt making, capture the flag, and one very smoky campfire. The kids and staff all enjoyed the cooking of Jan Carson, getting more then 5 mentions at our testimony sharing time. The worship by Katie led us all into Gods presence and the kids really enjoyed this time. The talks lead by Andy, Jan and myself were also were filled with the Holy Spirit and the kids admitted they learned more about God during these times. One boy even said that he had learned that God could be lots of fun, and not just boring and hard work.
Overall it was a fun and God filled weekend with lots of adventures and stories that will be remembered in the children’s and our lives for a long time.
