Fundraising for the Bridge this Term
Future events to look forward to:
- Come Dine With Me© – We would love to invite you to take part in a Come Dine With Me© experience. This can be for 3 couples per group (cooking a meal for 6 people in total) or 5 singles (i.e. sharing a meal with 4 other people). The entry fee will be £40 per couple or £20 per single entry. For this fee, couples will host one meal and get two meals out; singles will host one meal and get 4 meals out. Unlike the TV programme, there will be no voting or final prize; however, there should be a lot of fun in enjoying other people’s cuisine, meeting people you possibly don’t already know and knowing that you’ve raised money for the Bridge. If you’d like to take part, starting in February & March, please contact Ruth Barr on: ruthbarr77@gmail.com or phone 01923 777947. I will need to know if you are booking as a couple or individual, & which nights of the week you will be available for the meals. I will then co-ordinate matching people up with their prospective dinner partners & contact you.
- A Scalectrix Evening – Brilliant fun organised by Brian Plumridge.
We need to raise the money but we can have fun at the same time. Are you willing to help with
any of these events? If so, please contact Judith Palfreman 01494 763352
Church Bibles
The church has a supply of bibles available for your use. These are stored behind the welcome desk. If you would like to borrow one during a service, please simply ask at the welcome desk on your way in, and then leave it there on your way out afterwards.
